Six matches decided in Ufone Inter-Media Cricket

IslamabadAs many as six more matches were decided on the second day of the ongoing Ufone Inter-Media Cricket Tournament here at MNA Hostel Cricket Ground organised by National Press Club in collaboration with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Capital Development Authority (CDA).

Daily Nawai-e-Waqt beat Din by 9 wickets in the first match. Batting first Din scored 51 for 5 wickets and Nawai-e-Waqt achieved the target in 5th over with Numan Malik scoring 20 runs and Bilal Pannu 12 runs. In the second match Combined XI outclassed Business Recorder by 9 wickets with Mohsin Ali and Faisal Hakeem scores 37 and 23 runs respectively to give victory for Combined XI. Earlier Business Recorder scored 79 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted overs.

Online had a narrow margin victory against The News by 8 wickets. The News won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 57 runs, Humayun Aziz remained the top scorer with 28 runs.

Channel five-cricket team clinched the victory by defeating Daily Asas cricket team by 22 runs while Sama TV cricket team defeated Daily Express cricket team by 21 Runs.
